A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savour and remember.

Wishing you an amazing weekend full of memorable moments!
So serious! Was it her first? She seems to be doing very well. My daughter LOVES going to get her hair cut! She feels so grown up. And the lollipop at the end helps I’m sure. LOL!
Here is our funny little moment this week, if you feel like stopping by!

Have a great week-end!!!
This was the first haircut she got in a salon. She loved it! The lollipop at the end is a HUGE bonus!
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Awww…how adorable! Love it! Have a great weekend, Jennifer!!!
Thanks so much Kelli! Wishing you a lovely and blessed weekend as well.
You know, I always thought that I would cut my girls’ hair myself. Then I actually did, and they ended up with bangs that were roughly one centimeter long. I’ve determined that this is just one of the necessary costs associated with parenthood now…. :)
I love her expression!
Ha! Me too! I thought I could do it no problem but I would consistently mess it up.
She was trying so hard to keep still (hence the expression on her face).
Wishing you a blessed Easter my friend.

A first? Someone is not looking so sure of those big scissors. Be well.
This was her first haircut in a salon. She actually enjoyed the haircut… she was just concentrating so hard to keep her head still.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Awwwwe! That FACE! Did she like it in the end?!
She loved it! It was her first “real” haircut, so it was quite the neat experience!
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
xoxo
She is so pretty!!!
She really enjoyed the “pampering”… such a little girl.
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Oh, a haircut–yay! What a fun girly day experience!

Thanks so much Wendy! I loved how it turned out too!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend as well.
first haircuts are so memorable! My girls love to get their hair cut. I would never be able to do a good job haha. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Katie! I’ve done a number of haircuts myself but this was memorable because it was her first in a salon.
Wishing you a lovely weekend as well.
So super Sweet! YOu know what? My 8 year old just hates the professional hairdresser so much. I don’t know why and neither does she. I have to still cut her hair. And let’s just say I’m not too adept…

Ha! I’m terrible at cutting hair. I’m glad my daughter enjoyed the experience. It’s such a cool hair salon for kids too. They get to watch a cartoon, they sit in a toy jeep, and they can play in a ball pit when they’re all done. Plus when they go, they get a lollipop! They should have something like that for adults!
Wishing you a lovely weekend.

She is so cute and taking her “grown up moment” so seriously! My moment is a glimpse of a gift we are receiving in October. http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2014/04/this-moment_18.html
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Jennifer!
Thanks Hannah. Oh my goodness am I right to be thinking what I’m thinking about your moment?! Exciting times!
This reminds me…I need to take Dylan for a haircut. In a car, just like this!
I love the hair salons for kids… so awesome! it’s like an “event” rather than just a haircut.
Wishing you a lovely day my friend.
Great Post. Lovely Blog.

Oh my gosh what a sweetie! She looks so serious! Little A hasn’t had a haircut yet. Not sure when she’ll get one. I love her long hair. :)
xoxo
She was working so hard to keep absolutely still (because the hairdresser had asked her to do so). Such a request takes a lot of concentration from a toddler.
I love A’s hair. Beautiful.

Haircuts are such serious business! What a great moment!
Our moment this week is from dyeing Easter eggs! We were excited to get to dye them outside. Now, if only our lawn was a little more green!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Haircuts are very serious business indeed! I hope you had a wonderful Easter with your little family Shel!
Lollipops make any day enjoyable. Lovely photo.
Yes! I even enjoy the occasional lollipop!
Wishing you a lovely day.
She’s adorable Jennifer. She’s so serious. I’m glad to hear she loved the salon haircut and the lollipop. I hope there will be more mommy and me salon days. :)
