Happy Monday my friends! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We had a busy, but enjoyable, weekend. Here’s what we were up to:
- exploring our new community playground… slides to go down, things that twirl, and a yellow school bus that seats six
- enjoying the sight of a child and her beloved dog
- cuddles and snuggles with my two lovely girls
- rediscovering the simple joy in skipping rocks on water
- watching my toddler swing herself on a swing
- twirling a colourful ribbon in a sea of green
- exploring nature with a two-year-old
- handstands that turn into donkey kicks
- popcorn and shows with the hubby
- spying on the police who were pursuing someone by foot in our neighbourhood
- working on a new printable resource (which I’ll be sharing with you later this week)
- an inspiring Sunday morning at church
- exploding gravy
- a new journal and pen set (made with recycled products)
- roast beef dinner with the in-laws
- seeing a beautiful sky of blue, yellow, pink, and orange… the perfect week-ending.
How was your weekend?
Sounds lovely! I had my 3 year old nephew out to the house and had fun showing him around our garden and letting him feed our goldfish in our outdoor pond. So much fun :)
Sounds like a wonderful weekend!
Excited to hear more about the printable resource!
Have a great week!

Oh yes — it does sound lovely, with a good dose of adventure!
Happy Monday to you!

Thanks for linking up! Sounds like a fun weekend! Umm, I’m interested in the police pursing someone on foot in your neighborhood!
Exploding gravy?! Sounds like an adventurous weekend, but the gravy made me chuckle. Be well.
Sounds like you had a blast too!! Popcorn and shows with the hubby, that’s our favorite thing to do!
Sounds like a great weekend (except for the whole cops running through the neighborhood thing!) We had fun setting up my daughter’s new homework desk!
Thanks for linking up to Mommy Mondays! I am a new FB follower! I hope you like the Mommy Mondays page too. <3
I like your bullet point weekend summary because it leaves out any hiccups and makes the “OMG NO” moments into “LOL.” As in “exploding gravy” hahaha
Hi Jennifer! Well, it wasn’t exploding gravy good, but it was still nice! We went out for dinner with a gift card from my daughter , so that was fun!

Whoa…exploding gravy? Sounds like you had quite a weekend, mostly lovely but for the gravy, hee hee.
Sounds wonderful…especially the roast beef dinner! :)
Sounds you and family had a great weekend. :) Love the way you write.
Sounds like lots of fun.
I love how the statement about the police chase was embedded into otherwise “normal” weekend circumstances. (Well, besides exploding gravy! That’s just slightly abnormal….) :)
