This week I’m breaking the rules of {this moment} and giving an explanation of our extraordinary moment of the week.
We won tickets to the advance screening of Muppets Most Wanted through Shannon’s blog; Shannon’s View From Here. I was so excited because The Muppets Most Wanted would be the first movie my youngest daughter would see in the theatre. What’s kind of neat is my oldest daughter’s first movie in the movie theatre was The Muppets (2011). How special is that?!
My youngest sat so well through the movie and was really into the experience. Plus we seriously LOVE The Muppets… so much so that if my youngest had been a boy, my hubby was seriously advocating for the name Kermit. If you don’t believe me, you can read more about that HERE.
Anyway, after the movie, City TV was conducting interviews about the movie. My oldest daughter wanted to do an interview and I was floored by the way she grabbed that microphone and started telling the interviewer about the film. She was very cute. Her energy, enthusiasm, and charisma in this moment will forever be in my memory.
Wishing you an amazing weekend full of memorable moments!

What a fabulous moment! I’m so glad that you shared the story behind it! We are a huge Muppet family too and cannot wait to see the new one!
Our moment this week comes from our visit with my brother at Maritime College in NY last weekend. It was great to explore his school with him and the girls had a blast with their Uncle. In this picture he took us to see the training ship they use!

Mireille… ha yes… she’s enjoying the “celebrity” status and has signed autographs for her grandma already *wink*.
Hi Jennifer! What a proud moment for you! If my daughter did that at that age, I’d faint. She was afraid of her own shadow at that point. Look at that smile on her face too…lovin’ it! I hope you could get a copy of the footage? Maybe the station does that kind of thing. What a precious memory.
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience!
