- Watch and do the “Y” video on Starfall (need a computer with flash and a mouse for the free version)
TUESDAY
- Make brown playdough together
- Provide “Y” playdough placemat and make a “Y” shape (download is in the Subscriber Library)
- Watch this time lapse video of the Milky Way
WEDNESDAY
- Read: How to Catch a Star
- Go for a nature walk to gather sticks and twigs
- Make these star twig ornaments
THURSDAY
- Use chalk pastels to draw a night sky on black or dark blue paper
- Field trip to buy ingredients for our recipe
- Make these carrot stars

- Read: When Dad Showed Me the Universe
- Sing and do actions to: Zoom! Zoom! Zoom!

- Set out a display table with sea shells, sea stars, a bin with sand, and shovels.
- Draw a beach scene! Glue on small seashells and sand!

- Make brown playdough together
