The Great Tree - an illustrated children's book

My husband recently self-published his own children’s ebook entitled The Great Tree! Isn’t that exciting?! You might already know this, as I have shared it on some social media outlets, if so, I apologize for the repetition.

I know I’ve written before about my husband’s extraordinary talents. He never ceases to amaze me! He’s always working on some new project. His ideas are many AND numerous! He likes to create, as well as share his creations with others.

He’s written children’s music, self-published a graphic novel, and made a few animated short features. I love seeing what he creates. Often when he’s in the planning stages of an idea, I can’t picture what he’s envisioning. Then, when I see the final product, I am usually blown away. Time and time again, Evan creates these amazing works of art and I’m so proud of him and his hard work.

The Great Tree

This is a lovely children’s book, completely written and illustrated by my husband. A brief description of the book is:

Gnomes, sprites, spiders, squirrels, bats, the Great Cat, the Great Bird and even a princess, makes their homes at the Great Tree. In spite of their differences the creatures of the Great Tree get along fairly well…until the pony arrives.

The story is fable-style and the artwork is black and white, which gives the book a “classic” kind of feel. I’m not entirely biased here when I say that I love this story. It is a sweet tale and a story that the whole family can read and enjoy.

If you would like to preview the book, you can view and/or purchase it HERE at  Smashwords.
