{this moment} – A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savour and remember. If you’re inspired to do the same, leave a link to your ‘moment’ in the comments for all to find and see.

Okay… I’m bending the “rules” a little. Last night my baby went to bed at 7 pm and this is when she woke up… hooray for sleeping through the night!
Wishing you an amazing weekend full of wonderful moments!
Awesome! Did you wake up at the normal time and wait, almost afraid to think she might actually sleep through? I remember laying there with my husband, waiting and he started to say something. I shook my head, afraid that he’d wake the baby up and I wanted to see how long the baby would sleep. I, of course, couldn’t get back to sleep.
Yeah, I woke up a few times but I was able to fall back asleep (and I was so engorged).
I must say… wow, I feel great this morning! The best sleep I’ve had in over a year!
wow, you didn’t get much sleep, did you?
have a wonderful weekend, hopefully you get an hour or so more tomorrow night :)
oh, bless your heart. that’s great! i have to confess Pigeon has always been a great nighttime sleeper and goes to bed with us (in his bassinet next to our bed) at 11 or midnight (after long evening sleeps in between feedings) and sleeps until 7 or 8! He’s been doing it since oh, I don;t know, 6 weeks? Though now that he’s outgrown swaddling he is having some trouble…last night was very wakeful, so I may be paying my dues in these next few months until he gets used to it!!!
You were one of the “lucky” ones. My oldest was like that too. Hopefully Pigeon settles again. We mommas need our sleep!
congrats!! that’s a good little milestone moment. :) thanks for all the love on my blog- yes that was through a screen! I enjoy your “bending” of the rules, sometimes a little explanation makes a good friday story! happy weekend!
I think it would have been kind of “odd” to just post a photo of the clock without any explanation.
Yay! That’s about the same sleep schedule that my 4 month old has settled into lately. Now if only my three year old would do the same! :)
Isn’t that funny how sometimes they regress? I hope your three-year-old settles too!
Awesomeness! Mia still doesn’t sleep through the night. I used to be so good about getting them to do this from very early on, but as more and more babies came into our family, it became less of a priority. Kinda backwards, huh?
I can see how that would happen Sofia. It took us awhile to “impose” a routine with our second child. We were so overwhelmed with meeting our infant and our oldest daughter’s needs, it took a long time to adjust. I imagine with several children, that “compounds”.
Happy moment. We have the same clock. MY 4 year old wait for it to turn green at 7. Somehow his younger sister doesn’t get it yet though (she is only 15 months!)
We bought the clock for my oldest but she never got into it and rebelled against the concept of staying in her room until the clock changes colour. So, I use it in the baby’s room as a night light.
That’s is something to celebrate!
Yes… and I feel great today!
