Random moments from the best part of the week – the weekend!
* Maple syrup candy! Yum!
* 90’s themed Zumba with the bestest sister-in-law ever! We even dressed the part!
This is the most I’ll show you of my dreadful 90’s costume. |
* A Friday night movie with the hubby.
* Cleaned and organized the pantry (which includes the home school and craft shelves)! Yay me!
* Griped about the new dumping of snow. Hey spring, where are you?!
* A trip to Michael’s for craft supplies.
* Pig Greens for dinner (bacon wrapped cabbage).
* Watched Hillsong’s, This is our God concert at my mom and dad’s.
* Watched Chopped with the hubby (we LOVE Chopped).
* Enjoyed an Uptown Girl beer.
Small, refreshing, and only 57 calories! |
* Menu planning.
* Watching Hillsong on YouTube with my daughters.
* Grocery shopping while hubs watched the kids at the nearby Tim Horton’s. This was a big deal because I haven’t been able to do anything alone since February 22nd. I was alone for 40 minutes! Baby steps… but progress.
* A delicious Cafe Mocha as a reward for doing my solo grocery trip.
* A great tweet from a dear friend who’s been away in Hawaii… she’s back (and boy did I ever miss her)! Twitter was very quiet without her!
That was my weekend! How was yours?!
Sounds like a fun weekend minus the snow:) I grocery shopped alone this weekend too. It was rather liberating even if it was only grocery shopping.
It was a GREAT weekend (like you said… minus the snow)!
still snowing where you are?? goodness. but a nice coffee and zumba, that has got to help. :) have a great week
Yes more snow expected this coming weekend! Spring? What’s that?
So happy that you were able to be on your own out shopping… I know it is a big deal. Sounds like a good weekend (other than the snow part lol)
Thanks Hannah. It was a big step!
baby steps are progress too! congrats. i hope it continues to get better and easier for you.
Thanks so much for the encouraging words!
That 90’s outfit sure looks interesting. The 80’s and 90’s fashion should NOT be recreated (except for fun with sister-in-laws).
It’s maple syrup time here in Ontario and we’re heading to the sugar shack this weekend. Really excited!
