A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savour and remember.

Wishing you an amazing weekend full of memorable moments!
Oh how cute! I was just thinking to myself that I didn’t know what you did for work and was expecting to see some slightly older co-workers! This I love!!!!
Great picture! Goodness your girls look like you!
Here is one of my favorite moments of the week (notice it is NOT the sticking snow that arrived this week) http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2013/11/this-moment_15.html
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Yes, I think there is a family resemblance (you can especially see it here with this picture so close to me profile picture). They look like their daddy too.
Wishing you a lovely weekend too!
Thanks Megan! Yes, they are my coworkers.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Sweet! Precious times for sure. :)
Oh, fun. How old are your girls again?
So how do you like the Life of Fred books now that you’ve had time to try them? I am thinking of ordering them for Zia. If I order through the link you provided, do you get a little kickback?
We LOVE the Life of Fred books! We read one chapter once a week and at the end of the chapter there are some questions to “test” your child’s learning. I like that it tells a story. Plus, the Fred books cover all sorts of things (time, dates, history, science, etc.)… it’s more than math. My daughter also sees a lot of humour in the books too. They’re thoroughly enjoyable for both of us.
I would highly recommend them to anyone. I’ve even told friends who have their children in conventional school settings to get the books to do on the side at home.
Yes, if you order through the amazon link provided I get a small kickback. Thanks!
A lot of these resources are Canadian. Maybe that’s why you haven’t heard of them. My youngest is only two. I imagine she’ll have some interest in what we’re doing but we’re planning on keeping her busy with alternate activities as well.
We’re so excited. I think it will be a great year.
Thanks Elisabeth. We’re certainly excited. I think it will be a fantastic year.
Happy girls! I love how much your older one looks like you
We love our lunches together! My oldest is almost 6 and my youngest is almost 2 1/2.
I love this time of day. Everything slows down and we eat together.
She really does look like me. I have to dig up my old pictures of myself as a child and do a side-by-side comparison.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Oh, good! I was hoping you liked them. We’ll probably order soon!
Just the cutest! They are so stinking adorable! I think your youngest and Little A would have fun together :)
Lovely photo, I think they both look really like you. Have a great weekend.
:-) I’d say your coworkers are the best ever! :-)
I think Little A and my youngest would get along fabulously (my youngest was born July 14, 2011, so they are pretty close in age). My oldest would be in on the action too – she takes on a big sister role with all children who are younger than her.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Thanks Sally! I used to always hear how much they look like their dad… it’s nice to hear they look like me now.
Wishing you a lovely weekend as well.
They are the best coworkers! Such fun!
They really do look like sisters in this picture. Wishing you a lovely weekend as well!
I can see why you’re delighted to have two such wonderful lunch companions! ;) Have a great weekend!
Such sweet coworkers! They look very much alike in this picture.
Have a lovely weekemd!
Ha! Great work environment :) You have a blessed one as well!
Lunch and pi’s – looks awesome! And I love that quote too!
Oops, it was supposed to say pi’s :)
Oh Jennifer……….how adorable are they? Enjoy your little girls xx
Thanks Crissy! I am enjoying them, very much so!
I love the quote too! We are often in our pjs at lunch. Oh my… busted.
It’s the BEST work environment! Thanks for visiting Joi!
They definitely look like the sisters that they are.
Wishing you a lovely weekend too!
We love our lunches together (especially when it involves sandwiches).
Super cute! Homeschooling and lunching in pajamas that day, eh?
What a great picture!
