I remember that Huffington post well since I commented on it and busted out laughing at the appropriate times of course. :) My brother was just telling me about all the snow he was having in Ontario after I complained about how much we were having. He likes to up me with your Canadian weather basically saying it doesn’t compare. btw loving the kicksledding and those funny faces crack me up.
It’s felt like a longer winter up here. I’m ready for it to be over. I can’t wait for spring!

Oh yes… here in Alberta our winter isn’t over until mid-late April. Even then, we have the occasional snowfall in May – yuck!

I’ve never heard of kicksledding, but it looks like you had fun! I grew up in the North and have lots of sledding memories. Congratulations on the Huffington Post!
A kick sled is basically like the sleds that dogs pull. If you can get some momentum on it, you can ride it for a while (on a level surface). When we take them out, I usually a rhythm like I would with a skateboard… step, step, ride– step, step, ride. It’s loads of fun!
