WHAT MAKES A FABULOUS MOM?

Whether she displays one or several of the characteristics listed below, it’s time to let the secrets out… this is what the fabulous mom does well.

CONFIDENCE

A fabulous mom isn’t measuring herself against other moms. She doesn’t try to copy a mom she knows or watches on television.

She is her own person.

This mom is full of strength and confidence.

She has a vision for what kind of mom she wants to be. This mom acts on what she believes and is grounded in how she parents her children. She isn’t shaken easily because she knows exactly what she wishes to accomplish as a mom.

HUMBLENESS

The fabulous mom is humble. There’s no ego in her parenting. When she screws up, she’s comfortable admitting it and will seek forgiveness.

She also doesn’t tell others how to parent their children. If asked, she may offer counsel, but she does so with humble grace.

You want this mom to spill the beans and to tell you all her secrets, but as you talk to her, she gently encourages you in your mission as a mom. She points out how amazing you are and reminds you that you are the best mom for your children.

TENDERNESS

Some of the best moms I’ve met have a tender facet to their personalities. Their words and approaches are gentle.

You can see this in their interactions with their children. Whether they gently stroke their daughter’s hair, or caress their son’s hand.

These moms smile and have a calming reassurance about them. You feel soothed just being in their presence.

LOVES BIG

Okay, I know this is a given. Of course a fabulous mom loves her child! But here’s the thing, she loves through the good and the bad. Even when her child screams that they hate her and despite the teenager who mouths off, her love never wavers. She always loves.

She disciplines with love and her children never doubt her love because she doesn’t act out of anger but out of honest concern for her children.

EMBRACES GROWTH

The fabulous mom is one who seeks out opportunities to learn and grow her skills. She’s the one who reads the parenting books or attends parenting workshops.

She’s not afraid to learn new strategies and she’s open to changing her ways if it means making things better for her family.

This mom uses all the knowledge she’s gathered to improve her journey as a mom. She’s on a mission to become the mom she’s meant to be and will continually strive for growth.

YOU ARE A FABULOUS MOM

The fabulous mom is the mom who parents your child.

That’s right… the fabulous mom is you.

You are the mom who was created for your child and there is no one like you.

You are a gift and a treasure and I can guarantee your child thinks the world of you. Yes, you may have your rough days and sometimes you may think you’re not enough, but you are your child’s mom. That makes you a fabulous mom.
