We are so fortunate to live in a country that’s not war-torn. Peace is something we can take for granted.
Remembrance Day is an important occasion to commemorate and explore with our children. It is a time when we honour those who have served and are serving in the military. It’s a time to remember and thank those who sacrificed their lives for the luxuries and freedoms we have today.
I decided to put together a list of activities which you could explore with your elementary-aged homeschooler. Feel free to pick and choose from this list and build your own unit study for Remembrance Day.
