A few years ago I started the annual tradition of asking my oldest daughter a series of questions and I have documented her responses. Some of her responses made perfect sense and some made me laugh.

What does Mommy always say to you?
I don’t know… I can’t remember. (She really didn’t know how to answer this one).
What does Daddy always say to you?
I don’t know… I can’t remember. (I might remove this one next year. The answers could be embarassing).
Where’s your favourite place to go?
The lake. (Yes indeed and we can’t wait for spring when we can start going again).
What does Mommy do very well?

Who’s your favourite person to play with?
My sister. (Awww, I love this).
I wonder how much these answers will change over the next year. Next year my youngest will be old enough to answer these questions too. I can’t wait! Do you do annual Q & A’s with your children?
I really love this idea! I’ll have to remember it for when I have kids in the future :)
It’s fun to see what they answer.
So sweet! I can’t wait until McKenzie is old enough to do this!
I love this tradition. So funny (and special).
I love that her little sister has been her favorite person to play with every year. So sweet! This is a great idea. I wonder if Little A wound understand it this year. Maybe I’ll give it a try :)
I know… isn’t that so sweet?! You should try it with Little A!
Aww…so cute. Love the answers. I might want to do that but I believe my twins are 8 so…too late.
It was cute. I enjoy doing this with her.
Pest control! Ha! (But wait… does he really do pest control, or is he just the person who takes care of all the bugs that enter your house?) I’m so trying to get into her little awesome head!
Robin… seriously, he does pest control. He was an early childhood educator for years but started his pest control career this past September. Interesting career change isn’t it?! The career “shift” was the brunt of many jokes.
My husband still plays with Legos, too!
Boys and their Legos (although I play with Lego too but apparently I’m not as good as him).
I LOVE THIS! What a fantastic annual post! Are you going to be doing the same for your youngest?
Glad you enjoyed this. I will absolutely do the same for my youngest. I’ll probably start it on her third birthday.
