I recently stumbled upon a fantastic money-saving app and I just had to share it with my readers. The app is Checkout 51. This is my honest review of the app. The opinions expressed in this review are my own. The only compensation I receive are if the affiliate links within the post are clicked.

Are you ready to hear about my new, favourite, money-saving app?! Let’s go!

HOW IT WORKS

Each week, Checkout 51 gives a new list of offers on grocery store products.

Members can purchase products from the list at any store in Canada or the US and use the app to take a photo of the receipt.

Checkout 51 then confirms the purchase and credits the member’s account. Speaking from experience, the processing time on the receipts takes less than a couple hours.

When a member’s account reaches $20, the member can request a cheque, which is sent in the mail from Checkout 51.
There are various money-saving apps available. Here is my complete and honest review of the Checkout 51 Coupon App. Check out how to use it and what the savings are like!

New coupons are available every Thursday and the offers are valid for a week.

In addition, the coupons available through this app are FANTASTIC. I’ve encountered some excellent products such as Pringles potato chips, Country Harvest Bread, Liberte yogurt, Europe’s Best frozen fruit, Summer Fresh hummus, Kettle potato chips, Dr. Oetker frozen pizza, Glad garbage bags and Pillar’s meats.

The savings, when planned well, can be incredible!

For instance, a couple weeks ago there was a coupon for $2.00 off any single Dr. Oetker Frozen Pizza. In addition, the Dr. Oetker pizza products were on sale at Save-On Foods for $3.99. Who could argue with a $1.99 pizza? However, to maximize my savings, we bought the pizza on 15% off Tuesday, so we ended up paying $1.39 for a Dr. Oetker pizza! Now that’s savings!

The only limitation is that the coupon can be applied only once (so I couldn’t buy 4 Dr. Oetker pizzas for $1.39 each… but it’s still a great savings)! They also offer the occasional savings of $1.00 off of any grocery bill over $60!

I just received my first cheque for the amount of $22.50. Checkout 51 was very prompt in responding to my request, as the cheque came by mail within 8 business days of requesting it!

The Checkout 51 app is available for FREE in the Apple App Store (http://www.checkout51.com/app) and is also available for shoppers with Android smartphones.

I encourage my fellow Canadian and American consumers to investigate this app. It’s sure to save you a load of money!
