A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savour and remember.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend full of amazing moments!
what flower is that? it is like my favorite color on a flower!
So bittersweet! I’m looking forward to what’s coming next, but hate to see the color and warmth disappear. Thanks for stopping by my moment! Have a great weekend!
Funny story, last spring, my daughter wanted to plant flowers so we got a “Red Wildflower Mix” from the dollar store. So, needless to say, I have no clue as to what type of flower it is but it is a pretty one isn’t it? All the blooms were gorgeous and they blossomed at different times throughout the summer and fall.
It is bittersweet. I love this bloom though. It struck me as the “tough one” which has held in there despite me giving up on watering it.
Wishing you a lovely weekend too!
Oh it’s so pretty! Sad to see the blooms fade though. We just dug up what was left of our garden and it’s looking so bare out there now! Wishing you a happy weekend :)
I am so sad to see my garden come to this. As much as I love living somewhere with four seasons, it can be hard to say good-bye to seasons as well.
Wishing you a lovely weekend as well!
aww, the surviving flower.
I know… it’s the last of my garden. Winter is close and I’m NOT ready. I haven’t even taken the winter coats out of storage yet.
It’s so pretty. It’s my last one though. It still keeps thriving despite the dipping temperatures.
Wishing you a lovely weekend too!
The sole survivor and such a beautiful flower. Here I am hoping that this means that we’ll have a nice winter and an early spring. :) Happy Friday to you, have a wonderful weekend.
It’s so lonely looking isn’t it? I like your thinking about a nice winter and early spring. Praying that’s the truth!
Wishing you a lovely weekend as well!
I love seeing those last blooms among the drying of fall. It’s like a little part of summer wants to hang on!
Have a wonderful weekend!
You guys really do have well defined seasons don’t you? It’s a big difference from where l live in the subtropics….the changes between seasons are much more subtle. Most of our common native flowers and bushes, although they definitely do bloom more in spring…can bloom anytime of the year! especially after it rains.
We still have a few blooms here and there, but we had a hard frost and a flurry of snow so I a sure they are about to be gone. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
How exciting!!! I would take it as a sign. A sign of what? Not sure. But a sign nonetheless.
oh my, that IS lovely! It reminds me of a perseverance poster. Be well
