These moments are fleeting, these moments are mine,
These moments are glimpses, snapshots in time.
I wish to breathe them, to drink them all in.
These moments are where my memories begin.

Wishing you a lovely weekend.
So many great moments and we too had a date night just last night, as well as have two Elsas for Halloween, too. Happy Halloween;)
Yay for date nights! We really don’t get enough of them!
Wishing you a lovely weekend my friend.
It looks like you had a great month! Love the costumes. Have fun tonight!
Thanks so much Tara! It was a great month. Wishing you a lovely weekend.
It’s fun to see your life in pictures. I like how you are using sticky notes to write your book!
This is my first attempt at writing a book since highschool. I did the sticky notes as an attempt to make it easier for me to see the change in point of view, major events, and to be able to rearrange bits of the story with ease.
I love doing my monthly photo posts – it’s neat to reflect on the month in this manner.
What great moments! I see you have two Elsas in your midst!
Our moment comes from the girls getting ready for the Halloween party at their homeschool group this week. I was so happy to have my phone on me to capture this beautiful moment!

Happy Halloween/Harvest! xo
Yes… two Elsas! I was hoping for an Anna and an Elsa but they both love Elsa so much!
Thanks for stopping by!
A lot of wonderful and great moments! I love the costumes and a date night that is definitely worth celebrating!
Happy almost November :)
Have a great weekend!
We seriously don’t have enough date nights… this one was special!
I hope you had a lovely weekend Jen! Thanks for stopping by!
Date night is a must – you both look like you’re having quite a bit of fun in that pic! These sweet memories are what life is about and I’m happy you shared them with us.
Your costumes look amazing and I hope you have a wonderful time tonight!
We rarely get date nights… it was fun. We need to schedule more!
Thank you for the pattern for the aprons! The girls loved them and we got lots of compliments.
I hope you had a lovely weekend!
I am so amazed by your planning/organization for your writing! Are you that organized for all your posts too?
Thanks Caroline! I try to be organized but with NaNoWriMo I went above and beyond!
Hi, Jennifer,
Your poem was so enjoyable -and very timely for me as I am visiting my daughter in Texas because she gave birth to her first child. I change my flight for two weeks earlier because she was induced due to complications of risk of preeclampsia.
My new granddaughter is now an eight-day-old and my daughter was re-admitted to the hospital for continuing symptoms with preeclampsia.
Yes, these precious moments with my new granddaughter and are snapshots in time – and the moments are fleeting. I’m so thankful that I decided to stay longer when I changed the original ticket so that I can be here to help my daughter recover even more. What a blessing to needed and to have the good health and opportunity to be a help.
I love your pictures, So precious each one… you’re so talented and thank you for sharing your personal moments with us.
Have a blessed and lovely weekend.
– Carol
I’ll be praying for your daughter Carol.
These are precious moments indeed.
Thank you for your kind comment. I love it when you stop by to visit.
Blessings to you as well.
That last picture of the girls is adorable! I hope they had a great time trick-or-treating.
You guys had an eventful October. Happy Nov. 1st!
xoxo
They had a wonderful time! I hope all of you had fun too!
Love the pics Funny Faces and Date Night the best. The costumes came out great, Jennifer! Thanks for sharing with us.
Oh I just love my youngest faces… she’s such a little goof.
I was pleased with the costumes. It was indeed a lovely month.
I can’t believe it’s November!
What a lot of beautiful moments. Since I have such a busy work schedule, hubby and I do our date nights every Sunday. You did an amazing job with those costumes. I wish I had your skill, I had to buy mine at the Disney Store since Madison wanted to be Minnie Mouse. Would have saved me some money for sure, and I guess we got Canada beat for once. You beat us with Thanksgiving and we beat you with the first snowfall. We had ours in September :) Hope you’re having a great weekend!
October was full of beautiful moments.
Wow, that is an early first snowfall. Yuck!
Wishing you a lovely week my friend!
My kids would love the Indiana Jones exhibit!
And the corn maze looks confusing.
I like that you have Thanksgiving earlier than we do. I feel like it’s so cold when we have it. And dark!
The Indiana Jones exhibit was AWESOME! We LOVED it!
I like when we have Thanksgiving too. It really feels like fall.
Hi Jennifer, I love the pictures! I have been sat here thinking to light a fire as the evenings are a bit chilli, but not wanting to move. Your picture of the first snowfall has given me the push to actually light the fire once I have posted this comment!
I like the NaNoWriMo board, you are so organised. I have noticed you’ve managed to write over 4,000 words already, which I do plan to read.
Thanks Deb! It was a fabulous month and I had a tough time choosing which pictures I was going to feature.
I made a lot of plans for NaNoWriMo and so far I’ve exceeded my daily quotas. Today I’m at 7410. I hope I can keep ahead like this!
Your October looked amazing!! I’m excited for our Thanksgiving this month! And I LOVED your girls’ costumes, you did such an amazing job! I hope you and your family had a happy halloween. I’m excited for a new month, plus we’re one month closer to Christmas, my favorite :)
It was a wonderful month.
I was so pleased with their costumes… it was worth the effort and they love wearing them. We had a great Halloween, and you?
I love Christmas too… it’s my favourite time of year.
Looks like you had an awesome October. I’m way behind in blogging, trying to keep up, lol. We have been so busy & I just got better from being sick yesterday. What are those awards about!? You look so pretty! Your family is precious. Date nights are a must, amen!! lol!!! xo
Thanks for the lovely and thoughtful comment my friend.
The FIERCE awards are awards that are given to Albertans who are nominated for one of these categories: Fearless, Inspirational, Empower, Resilient, Champion, Equality. My friend in the picture won an award in 2011 and I accompanied her this year as she was presenting an award. Unfortunately this was their final year of running these awards. I loved going to them and hearing the amazing stories of everyday people doing extraordinary things in our community.
We have another date night tomorrow! Woohoo!
You look absolutely stunning in your girls night out awards dress!!!!!! I’m loving the costumes and date night! I would say October was a success!!!
Thanks my friend… it was a lovely month! We have another date night planned for tomorrow! I’m so excited… we usually have one date a year! LOL
Oooooh!!! This is just SO wonderful Jennifer!!! Date night? SCORE!!!! Precious costumes and faces and moments made for memories. Lovely poem my friend.
What conference did you attend? Oh, how I would love love love to meet you at one someday!!!
Yay for date night! We have another one planned for tomorrow as well. Yippee!
My church hosted a Women’s Conference and Kelly Minter came to do a detailed study on the book of Ruth. It was exceptional!
I would love to meet you one day too! I think I would cry… I’m sappy like that.
xoxo
What a fun October! Love the corn maze and the 2 Elsas. We had an Elsa and an Anna. Good luck with the writing!!!
Awww! Love all these pictures. It’s like a sneak peak of your life.
I have to say my favorite one is of the date night. :)
Great photos! Love your date night shot :-) …And the FIERCE awards(?) I’m going to have to read about that!
I wasn’t surprised at all to see your fantastically organized writing planner… Reminds me of a blog planning post of yours I once read ;-)
Looks like you had a fun October! I’m just now coming across this since we’ve been on the move so much lately. Your girls Halloween costumes looked great – You did a great job sewing them! Date nights are so great. Ours are few and far between as well, but that just makes us enjoy them even more. :)
